This weekend we found one curious and interesting article in the "Sunday Book Review" of the New York Times. In this article titled "The mechanic muse. From Scroll to Screen", his author, Lev Grossman, makes a reflection about the change that implied the evolution from scroll to codex in early medieval times, and the latest and nearest evolution to screens.
A small sample:
Something very important and very weird is happening to the book right now: It’s shedding its papery corpus and transmigrating into a bodiless digital form, right before our eyes. We’re witnessing the bibliographical equivalent of the rapture. If anything we may be lowballing the weirdness of it all.
